2. Torn From the Pages of Fanfic, Part the First: Wee!Dean, stealing stuff to give his lil' brother a good Christmas.

3. Two bucks says there's already wank a-brewing about John's Christmastime absence and how it relates to his skills/ability as a father. *le sigh*

4. Torn From The Pages of Fanfic, Part the Second: SAM GAVE DEAN THE AMULET!!! OMG. If there isn't a really good reason that Bobby gave it to Sam to give to John (i.e. Special Sekrit Powers), I will eat the headgear of your choosing.

5. How much do I love the symbolic transfer of the "gift for Dad" becoming the "gift for Dean" as shorthand for "you're my main parental figure now"? THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS MUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH.

6. Dean wants a Christmas because this is his last one, and Sam thinks he can't give it to him, but then Sam remembers when Dean did his best to give lil' Sammy a Christmas, so big!Sam sucks it up and gives Dean the best Christmas he can, because it's Dean's last one, and he doesn't even get mushy or sappy on Dean and just lets him enjoy the game....&hearts &hearts &hearts FOREVER.

7. The tree! With the airfreshener ornaments! In a bucket! And the skin mags/shaving cream gifts (and I have to put in my vote for that being the exact same thing Dean would've gotten for Sam even if he'd had weeks worth of time to shop.) And the motor oil/candy gift for Dean and the Impala!

8. BEST THING EVER: the ending shot of the three of them - Sam, Dean, and the Impala.


In conclusion? I LOVE MY SHOW.

Someone hold me and tell me the writer's strike isn't going to deprive us of story resolution. Pwease?
